RAW COTTON SUPPLY

Rotaltes imports cotton buds from the producing countries of South/East Asia
and Middle East, where it¹s possible to find also by-products of the working
of cotton fibre, especially the gin-motes.

The production of our spinning department satisfies our needs of yarn as
follow:

• the 100% of weft yarn we use for the weaving of
  flannel fabrics, the we obtain from the mixing of
  cotton buds and gin-motes, already cleaned with Truetschler machine.

• the 10/20% of warp yarn, used for the weaving of
  flannel fabrics, that we obtain only from cotton buds.

• The remaining quantity of warp yarn we use for our
  production is bought on domestic market or imported.
