MANUFACTURE

In the beginning the preparation of the final products (sheets, pillow cases, quilt covers, etc.) was carried out by external manufacturers which prepared the different articles from the cut outs of material provided internally.
The growing demand of flannel products and our presence in the extile market (for which Rotaltes buys grey fabrics of high quality on the major markets producer of cotton products) has caused a considerable increase in the quantity of pieces to be manufactured; In the beginning the preparation of the final products (sheets, pillow cases, quilt covers, etc.) was carried out by external manufacturers which prepared the different articles from the cut outs of material provided internally.
The growing demand of flannel products and our presence in the textile market (for which Rotaltes buys grey fabrics of high quality on the major markets producer of cotton products) has caused a considerable increase in the quantity of pieces to be manufactured; however this increase collided with the big difficulty in finding new intermedaries who could satisfy our needs both in terms of quality and ability to respect delivery times: this started to create us a problem in the consistency of the quality of service which we always assured our clients.
The consequent logic solution to this problem was the installation of the new manufacturing department, equipped with the most modern and advanced technology now available in the European market.

Today starting from the material, both Flannel or cloth, both dyed or
printed, which is supplied to us on rolls by the assigned print works, we are able to produce on our premises:

• flat sheets with scalloped, bourdon stitched or simple hem
• fitted sheets
• quilt covers
• pillow cases
• mattress covers

The articles are then transported, suspended from the ground with an ETON implant, to the two automatic folding machines which, appropriately programmed, automatically fold the article in the size required by the client.
The department organised in this way potentially packs up to 16,500 single pieces or 4,500 sets per day and allows us to guarantee a safe and punctual service to our clients. This particularly suits the mass retailers and by mail order catalogue, who require and expect long terms delivery plans with well defined dates.
